Iranian FM congratulates Armenian counterpart on National Day
TEHRAN- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi extended his congratulations to Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on the occasion of Armenia's National Day anniversary.
In a message sent on Thursday on his X official account, Araqchi conveyed his best wishes to Mirzoyan, the Armenian government, and its citizens, celebrating this significant national milestone.
Araqchi expressed, “By leveraging existing resources and the commitment of both nations' leaders and officials, the development and enhancement of bilateral relations will persist, ultimately serving to advance shared interests and strategic objectives, thereby fostering regional and international stability and security.”
Armenian National Day is celebrated annually on September 21 to commemorate the country's independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. It's a major public holiday in Armenia and is typically marked by a variety of events and festivities, including parades, concerts, and cultural events.
